David Evans
Collector and Dealer in Antiques for over 30 years, David with a wealth of knowledge in locating, buying and selling.
Having owned high street galleries in West London and units in established Portobello Road arcades, David was widely acknowledged by a vast network of contacts throughout the industry.
Unfortunately deteriorating health reduced his involvement over recent years before forcing him into retirement.
Jane Raven
Granddaughter of a cabinet maker and daughter of a carpenter, Jane was maybe the first girl at a UK school to take carpentry and technical drawing in preference to home economics. She has a passion for wood and wood carving.
Her 25 years in high end Fashion, overlapped for 10 years in Interiors where her embroidery design skills were in demand by some of the most recognised names in both industries. To Jane however, her artistic skills and eye for detail drew her into her life long passion, the world of antiques.
She expanded her already extensive knowledge in this field through stocking a double space in a South West London antiques centre and selling from her own unit in Portobello’s Admiral Vernon Arcade. Her real satisfaction coming from the finding and purchasing of her stock and through this she has become well known at auction houses and with dealers around the country.
During this time Jane has worked sourcing for commercial interior design firms and in her own right with clients including: international 5 star hotels, Michelin stared restaurants and several royal families around the world.
Services: Using her experience, specific skills and contacts, Jane can not only source the unfindable but also have unique items created for her clients: fabric printing, wallpaper printing, fabric weaving, pottery designed, and their own embroidered textiles. Working commercially for so many years she has in depth experience of budgets, targets and deliveries.
Jane has a team of skilled craftsmen who can be called upon to meet any requirements that may be demanded of her.
