Valman Interiors evolved around a strong demand for our “Art and Framing” services. We built up an extensive stock of: original work, reproduction, contemporary and period pieces. Jane also gave expert advise on the best approach for framing and display.
Since closing our antique centre outlets in Kingston and in the Portobello Road, we have worked on sourcing thousands of pieces of artwork and having them framed for hanging in hotels, offices and restaurants throughout Britain. Private clients sought guidance and direction to create lovely visual focal points for a specific room or location.
Our stock has been spread around various storage locations over the last few years whilst our work has relocated us into Somerset. Meanwhile, our framing expert and the former partner/joint founder of Valman’s was forced into retirement through ill health.
In mid 2019, we were offered space above Market Cross Antiques in Somerton, Somerset and branded it as Screaton’s Gallery. We are using this to bring together our art collection and offer it for sale.
At the time of writing this, Mid August 2019, we are starting to creating a new website: http://www.screatonsgallery.co.uk.
